Do sessions happen online or in person?

All sessions are held over Google Meet, so you can join from anywhere in New Zealand or abroad.

Do you mentor people in industries other than finance?

Unfortunately no – I focus exclusively on finance because that’s where I have real, hands-on experience. I’ve worked in NZ and Vietnam finance roles since my graduation and I know the industry, the hiring managers, and what they’re looking for. Taking on other industries would mean I couldn’t give you the depth and specific guidance you deserve. If you’re in finance, I’m all in. If not, I’d rather be honest than take your money and underdeliver.

Can you guarantee I’ll get a job after working with you?

Mentoring is a two-way effort — I can give you every tool, strategy, and insight I have, but the results depend on how consistently you apply them and other factors (sometimes being a bit of luck).

What I can commit to is showing up fully prepared for every session, giving you honest and specific feedback, and holding you accountable. Most of my clients who put in the effort land a role within 1–2 months. But a guarantee of a job offer isn’t something any honest mentor can make.

Which package is right for me?

If you’re not sure, start with the one-off session (NZD 120) — it’s a great way to get a feel for how we work together and get immediate value. If you need ongoing support with your CV, LinkedIn, job search, and interviews, the Standard Package (NZD 500, 5 sessions) is a good choice. The Premium Package (NZD 1,000, 10 sessions), which is the most popular package, suits people who want a full career transformation over 2–3 months with extra time for strategy and networking.

The first session is all about understanding where you are and where you want to go. We’ll go through your career background, what roles you’re targeting, what’s been holding you back, and what your CV and LinkedIn currently look like. By the end, you’ll have a clear action plan — not just general advice, but specific next steps tailored to your situation.

Is your approach suited to people with no NZ work experience?

Yes — this is actually one of my specialties. I came to New Zealand myself and know exactly how confusing the local job market can feel when your overseas experience doesn’t seem to count. I help you reframe and present your existing experience in a way that resonates with NZ employers, and I know which roles and companies are more open to hiring candidates without local experience.
